Miss Lisa's Dance ExpressDo not wear jewelry in class.

  1. No candy or chewing gum in class.
  2. Be on time for classes. Change into dance clothes and shoes before classes begin.
  3. Hair must be pulled back away from face and off neck.
  4. Roughhousing during classes or in the lobby will be strictly prohibited.
  5. Use the restroom before classes begin.
  6. NO long pants during dance/acro class. 
We have had A LOT OF PROBLEMS with students and siblings running through the halls, damaging the building, blocking other business’s doorways and rough playing.  This will NOT be tolerated.  If this pertains to your family, you will have to be asked to leave.


LOBBY / WAITING AREA

Miss Lisas Dance ExpressYou are more then welcome to wait for your child in the lobby/waiting area.  Observation through the windows is allowed during certain times of the year.  However windows will be covered after Christmas so progress can be marked.  The windows sometimes tend to be a distraction to students because they want to see who is watching OR they don’t like to be watched.  They need to concentrate. 
Joe Tremaine, Professional Dance Company in L.A., does suggest dropping your child off and not staying.  This is so your dancer/tumbler can completely focus.  We do understand with our younger ones, parents do need to stay.  If you choose to stay, we do ask that you help us to keep the lobby/waiting area clean. Also, please help us with the noise and activity level.  Children and siblings of students should always have adult supervision.

DROPPING OFF AND PICKING UP

Please make sure a teacher is present before dropping off your child.  Please be on time to pick up your child.  Once your child’s class ends I cannot be responsible for them as I am beginning another class.  For safety reasons I don’t recommend having your young child wait by the outside door.  They are welcome to wait in the lobby/waiting area until you arrive. This is for your child's protection!!!


Miss Lisa's Dance ExpressPLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE MORE THAN 10 MINUTES EARLY TO CLASS!

If you have arrived early, you must wait with your child until it is time to start class.
Dance rooms will remain closed until the instructor opens the door to enter. Remember, teachers come in early to prepare for class. Please do not open the doors until your instructor is ready.
Before class begins, please try to have the dancer's ballet shoes on them. If you are late arriving to class, please stand outside of the dance room and put your dancer's shoes on so there are no interruptions during the class.  Please take the younger dancers to the restroom before class starts!
