DANCERS ETIQUETTE
Miss Lisa's Dance ExpressDo not wear jewelry in class.

  1. No candy or chewing gum in class.
  2. Be on time for classes. Change into dance clothes and shoes before classes begin.
  3. Hair must be pulled back away from face and off neck.
  4. Roughhousing during classes or in the lobby will be strictly prohibited.
  5. Use the restroom before classes begin.
  6. NO long pants during dance/acro class. 
We have had A LOT OF PROBLEMS with students and siblings running through the halls, damaging the building, blocking other business’s doorways and rough playing.  This will NOT be tolerated.  If this pertains to your family, you will have to be asked to leave.


LOBBY / WAITING AREA

Miss Lisas Dance ExpressWe are no longer having a large waiting area. You are welcome to wait outside weather permitting. We will take care of changing shoes with the students in our rooms. We will have one watch week, the first week of December, so mark your calendar. Remember our studio is small…so parents only. We are working on a waiting hallway that will be made inside the studio…please be patient with us.

Not having the parents in the room helps your kids! This is so your dancer/tumbler can completely focus on their class and not be distracted by his/her and wanting to be with them.

DROPPING OFF AND PICKING UP

Please make sure a teacher is present before dropping off your child. Please be on time to pick up your child. Once your child’s class ends I cannot be responsible for them as I am beginning another class. For safety reasons I don’t recommend having your young child wait by the outside door alone. We will have someone staffed to wait with the child for 5 mins after class while parents are picking kids up.


PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE MORE THAN 10 MINUTES EARLY TO CLASS!

Miss Lisas Dance ExpressIf you have arrived early, you must wait with your child until it is time to start class.
Dance rooms will remain closed until the instructor opens the door to enter. Remember, teachers come in early to prepare for class. Please do not open the doors until your instructor is ready.
Before class begins, please try to have the dancer's ballet shoes on them. If you are late arriving to class, please stand outside of the dance room and put your dancer's shoes on so there are no interruptions during the class.  Please take the younger dancers to the restroom before class starts!
